Precautions for Installing Wood Drying Kilns
1. Different tree species or the same tree species with different moisture content and thickness should avoid drying in the same kiln as much as possible.
2. When stacking, it is necessary to ensure that the stack is stable, vertical, and prevent tilting and collapse.
3. Adjacent stacks should ensure that the same level is straight, and the circulating airflow can smoothly pass through the gaps between the boards, which is conducive to heat and moisture exchange.
4. When stacking, attention should be paid to the safety of the instruments inside the kiln to avoid collisions.
5. When stacking, concrete blocks should be placed at the top of the stack to prevent deformation of the surface of the stack material. If there are no concrete blocks, 2-3 layers of low-quality boards can be placed on top of the stack to replace them.
6. The selection of moisture content measurement points must ensure that the test panel can represent the moisture content of the entire kiln board. Generally, the moisture content board is used as the test panel and placed about 1 meter above the ground.
